Let’s put your I&E together.
One place for your numbers. One clear path to California’s FL-150.
Your documents, your starting point.
Import statement expenses, keep supporting records together, and tell us a little about your case.

Each report covers one year. Select separate years or accounts as needed. Avoid selecting repeated imports of the same transactions.
Give your income the full picture.
Use gross pay before deductions. Enter last month’s amount and the total for the preceding 12 months; we divide that total by 12 for the form’s average.
Deposits can contain transfers or net pay. They are not automatically imported as gross income. Blank means “not answered”; enter 0 when a line does not apply.

Find a home for each expense.
Turn statement activity into monthly suggestions, review where it belongs, and adjust for bills or accounts that are missing.
Choose a complete-month expense period
Months with no transactions still count in the average. Missing statements are not proof of zero spending.
Connect your categories to the form
Suggestions are a starting point. Mixed categories such as insurance, Target, and transfers stay unassigned until you review them.
Review individual transactions, exceptions & duplicates
Your monthly expense worksheet
Use the suggestion or enter a replacement monthly amount, then mark the line reviewed. Replacement amounts are not added to imports. Item 13p comes from your debt list in the next step.

These details help explain the numbers beyond your statements.
12 · People who live with you
14 · Installment payments & debts
Include only payments not already counted in item 13. Card payments can duplicate purchases imported from your card statement. Checked payments flow to 13p; balances never count as monthly expenses.
